Jerry Bennett's musical career started when he was 8 with classical piano and theory. By high school he'd added a Sax to his repertoire and was playing hired Jazz gigs at professional sporting events. Soon after, he was entrenched in the College Bar-Band scene, subsequently earning two Engineering degrees that further developed his attraction to technology and an affinity for synthesizers and electronic music. By his early 30s he tried to "sell out", dumping all his gear to pursue career and family interests. You can tell how long THAT lasted! Prior to joining forces with FlatLine, Jerry has tickled the ivories with several Triangle bands including Mopping Janet, Firewire, TiLT, ShapeShifter, and FlyBone. |
